Quantum Quattro: The Namibian Mix That Looks Like Electric Waves

Hi, I’m Chandler.

Quantum Quattro is the name for this wild Namibian mix — Shattuckite (deep blue), Chrysocolla, Malachite, Dioptase, and Plancheite all blended in quartz. When it’s good, it looks like electric blue-green waves frozen in rock with pops of green and coppery flecks. The rough is unsearched, so every piece cuts different — some heavy blue, some more green matrix, some with that perfect sparkle.

I like it because it’s natural and untreated — no dye, no stabilization. The color comes from the minerals themselves, and the quartz host gives it durability so it holds up in jewelry. Every cabochon or pendant ends up unique — no factory duplicates.

It’s not the most common stone in the market, which is part of why I keep going back to it. The blue-green shift and matrix patterns make each piece feel alive.

If you’re into something with that electric vibe, check the Quantum Quattro pieces I have listed. They move when I finish them.
